film was made 10 years ago, and featured performances by and
members of Idiot Flesh (the band that SGM was before SGM). If
you never experienced an Idiot Flesh show, portions of this
film give you a good idea. Keep in mind, THIS IS NOT A CONCERT
FILM, it is a mockumentary, ala Christopher Guest (Guffman,
Best in Show etc), which features Idiot Flesh and many of it's
members (including fire performers and entourage). It's a very
well done film, and clips can be seen at oaklandunderground.com.
We highly recommend it for it's humor, writing, and the scenes
of the old days in Oakland.
